First I want to start off with my house is in a state of constant renovation (old home and young kids), which means there is going to be who knows what on the walls is it paint? maybe soot? maybe a monster drawn by some little hands? My kitchen is also in a similar state, that means I have an electric stove that is in a temporary rigging and position so is the oven, until my new cooker gets put in which I been waiting 2 years now. Also my yard (garden) is a bit of a mess part of it is patchy grass, part of it has raised beds and walk ways for those and the rest is a mix of dirt and clay that makes up the chicken area and their coop/run. So yes my house and my garden look a bit of a mess no one is perfect!
Now with the above out of the way, I am originally from California,USA and I now live in the east midlands with my husband of 8 years (we have known each other since Dec 2007 so around 15-16 years), we have two children a girl & a boy and both have special needs to one extent or another. My husband works odd hours Monday-Friday and sometimes even pulling Saturdays for his place of work (regularly pulling 50+ hours a week), so we don't get as much done around the house as we would like to. I will admit now I do have mental health issues I have severe anxiety and depression along with childhood ptsd, so some things are not very easy for me to do/say/think about because of those issues plus they way I grew up adds to it all. I am in my mid 30's and I love cooking & baking, I also like homesteading and basically anything related to being self-sufficient, DIY and building things, very interested in first aid/medical field as well as holistic/ herbal medicines (complementary therapies to more modern medicines).
I don't normally talk about politics or religion but I will say I am not Christian, I lean towards Judaism I will not push my beliefs onto you and I would hope you do the same in turn. I was a pagan/wiccan for around 15-20 years before my change in religious beliefs. I also do not hold to any one political view point or party as I feel they normally only benefit a small group and themselves vs benefiting the whole, I also feel they cherry pick everything and never tell you the disadvantages etc of what they are telling you which I really hate and again I will not push my belief or view point onto you and would hope you do the same in turn. I will also occasionally talk about how politics etc are affecting farms/ homesteading etc and that will only be from what I have read/ researched.
